11-03-24 Fall Back Salon Debriefing
Thanks to all who came out for 11/3/24 Fall Back Sunday Sonic Salon!
People brought photos and mementos for the ofrenda, and scattered marigolds leading to it.
We talked sometimes in pairs or groups, and sometimes monologues or all at once- sharing stories, processing grief and the past as we cut images from magazines and glued them onto shiny paper.
I imagined myself as the angel on the Temperance card from the Rider-Waite tarot deck, blending and decanting, seeking balance- purifying, clarifying, leaving sediment behind.
Mirroring that process, I played recordings from my archives, some forgotten or re-discovered- recombining them with each other in shiny golden afternoon time that showed itself out by candlelight.
